SHIPMENT

Your order will be shipped via FedEx. Please note that we cannot deliver to areas where FedEx service is unavailable.

• Address changes are not allowed after placing an order.
• We do not combine multiple orders into a single shipment.
• Delivery times vary depending on the destination.
• Estimated shipping time: approximately 2–4 business days.

 

⚠️ Important Notice for Installment & Revolving Payments

If you wish to pay for your repair or purchase via "Installments" or "Revolving Payment", please follow the steps below carefully. Selecting the wrong option on the initial checkout screen will automatically process your payment as a single full charge.

Select the SECOND option: "Credit / Debit Card"
On the payment selection screen, you will see two very similar choices. Please ensure you check the correct box:
❌ Top Option: "Credit card" (※Strictly for Single Full Payment)
⭕ Bottom Option: "Credit / Debit Card" (← Please select this one)

Click the payment button to proceed
With the bottom option ("Credit / Debit Card") selected, scroll down and click the button to proceed.
Note: You will not be charged upfront in full at this stage; you will be redirected to a secure payment page.

Enter your card details and choose your payment plan
On the secure payment page (as shown in the image below), enter your card information.
Then, click the dropdown menu under "Payment Type" and select either "Installments" or "Revolving" (the default is "One-time").

 Shipping charges are based on the shipping address and volumetric weight. The final cost will be calculated at checkout.
* Import duties and taxes may be charged separately by the customs authorities in your country. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Returns and Exchanges Policy

(For orders shipped internationally, including to the United States)

Our Policy

Due to the delicate nature and high value of our model trains, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons other than defective products or incorrect items being shipped.

We appreciate your understanding that all sales are considered final once the order is shipped.

Exceptions: Defective or Incorrect Products

We take the utmost care in quality control, packing, and shipping every order. However, if your item arrives damaged (scratched, dirty, or non-functional) or is different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately for assistance.

To be eligible for a resolution (replacement or refund), you must report the issue to us within 7 days of the item's arrival.

How to Report an Issue:

1. Take clear photographs or a video showing the defect or damage.

2. Email us at customer@tenshodo.co.jp  with your Order Number and the supporting media (photos/video).

3. We will assess the issue and provide instructions for the return or exchange process.

Important Notes on Condition

• All claims must be made within the 7-day period. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.

• The item must be returned in the original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and protective materials.

Important: Customs Duties and Import Taxes

All international orders, including shipments to the United States, are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) from Japan.

This means that the recipient is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any additional charges levied by the destination country's customs office. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs paid to Tenshodo.

You will be contacted by the courier (e.g., FedEx, DHL, USPS) upon arrival in your country to arrange for the payment of these fees.

Duty Amount Disclaimer

We cannot advise on the exact amount of duties or taxes, as these charges are determined by your local customs office based on the product's classification and value.

We strongly recommend that you contact your local customs authority or a shipping calculator service prior to placing your order to determine the potential additional costs.

Refusal to Pay Duties

If the recipient refuses to pay the required duties and taxes upon delivery, the order will be returned to Japan.

In this event, any resulting charges for return shipping, customs clearance, and associated fees imposed on Tenshodo will be deducted from your refund, or the package may be abandoned without a refund.
