Tenshodo was founded in 1879 in Tokyo’s Ginza district as a retailer of precision instruments and watches.

In 1949, the company began producing brass model trains, renowned as the “Rolls-Royce of Model Trains” for their unmatched craftsmanship and accuracy.

Today, Tenshodo continues to create exceptional timepieces, model trains, and jewelry — each a masterpiece born from Japanese dedication to detail.

Founded in the 12th year of the Meiji era, Tenshodo has always been anticipating the times with the spirit of "pioneering business roads" and has grown as a long-established store in Ginza. You can see the special products produced based on the aesthetic eye cultivated over the long history, and the introduction of the trading department and staff who support Tenshodo.
TENSHODO Watch
Since the Meiji era, we have been handling Swiss brand watches as an authorized importer. In addition, based on the aesthetic eye cultivated by handling watches from around the world, we have been manufacturing and selling Tenshodo original watches since 2001.
TENSHODO Model train
We sell brass railroad models of Tenshodo, which have been highly evaluated in Japan and overseas, die-cast plastic railroad models, and models of ships.
