A Legacy of Excellence — From Precision Instruments to Fine Artistry

Tenshodo was founded in 1879 in Tokyo’s Ginza district as a retailer of precision instruments and watches.

In 1949, the company began producing brass model trains, renowned as the “Rolls-Royce of Model Trains” for their unmatched craftsmanship and accuracy.

Today, Tenshodo continues to create exceptional timepieces, model trains, and jewelry — each a masterpiece born from Japanese dedication to detail.

Crafted by Hand. Perfected by Spirit.
Each Tenshodo creation is hand-assembled by master artisans.

Precision, patience, and pride define our process — qualities deeply rooted in Japanese craftsmanship.

From the delicate soldering of brass to the fine adjustment of watch movements, every detail is treated with respect.
