This product is painted in JNR standard brown color, and is the later model with H-rubber support front window, recessed taillights, LA15 lightning arrester, and lightweight horn PS14 pantograph. The lightning arrester is on rear of the pantograph.
The headlight, taillights, cab light are LED lighting.
The EF10 class was Japanese first F-class electric locomotive, and the most number of its kind made before the WWII.
Those manufactured in the early stages were similar in style to the EF53, and were characterized by their angular appearance.
In addition to their original use as freight locomotives, they also pulled passenger trains on gradient lines.
Because of its light axle weight, it was also used on local lines.
